Portmeirion ticket info

Weekend tickets will go on sale on December 10th priced £55 for Adults and £30 for children aged 16 and under.
This includes entry to Portmeirion, its grounds, gardens and shops, (which is normally almost a tenner a day on its own), entry to Friday and Saturdays events in Hercules Hall, commemorative Laminate pass and lanyard, commemorative badge and guided walking tour of Portmeirion on Saturday afternoon and the chance to be part of a group photo in the main square.
We appreciate this is an increase on the cost of 2019 which is due to increased costs but we have added more to the schedule including the brilliant The 79ers on Friday and it still represents great value for a whole weekend which is more a gathering of close friends for a Xmas party rather than an event.
That said we know these are difficult times and, with that in mind, we will be operating the instalment payment plan like last time so that when tickets go on sale you can secure your ticket with a small amount of just £10 per ticket and pay as much or as little as you want in intervals as long as the balance is paid by April 3rd 2022. Spaces are limited to 150.
Details of how to secure your place and how to pay early next week.

Return to Portmeirion

Here’s the date for your 2022 diary. Our Portmeirion weekender will take place on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th November next year.

We’ll bring you ticket information soon. As with 2019, a ticket will admit you to all the events for the whole weekend as well as to the beautiful grounds that Portmeirion has to offer. We will also have reduced price tickets for children under the age of 16.

The Vapors will be playing 2 sets on Saturday night and the Friday night will have The 79ers and the fans’ performance section. DJ Jacqui Carroll will be on the decks on across the weekend and both The Vapors and The 79ers will be displaying memorabilia from the archives including items from The Chords, Purple Hearts and Long Tall Shorty. There will also be competitions and maybe a guest appearance or two. It will be a packed weekend…

Ticket price is to be confirmed but will offer great value for money for a whole weekend. As a festive bonus, the Xmas tree and decorations will be up at Portmeirion by then too so it will be our end of year party. More details to follow soon…

Skids L.Spa gig postponed

Unfortunately, we have just been advised that tonight’s Leamington Spa gig with The Skids has had to be postponed until Sunday 14th November as someone within their touring party has tested positive for Covid. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the short notice rescheduling & best wishes to everyone in The Skids’ camp.

Another NCD 40th gig confirmed

The band were disappointed to not include a visit to the midlands with the New Clear Days 40th anniversary tour so a gig has now been added for the spring. They are playing at the Robin 2 in Bilston on Thursday 24th of February. Tickets are onsale now here

NCD @ 40 tour done

Last night the band played the final date of the New Clear Days 40th anniversary tour on a packed boat moored in Bristol! From Manchester to Bristol, it has been a brilliant tour with the band on fine form and with great, appreciative audiences every step of the way. Mid way through the tour, Dave was struck down with a chest infection but soldiered on to complete the run like the trooper he is. The set covered the band’s career from Prisoners all the way to the as yet unreleased One Of My Dreams with New Clear Days in full at the core. Support came from the fantastic 79ers who played a great set of ‘79 Mod Revival tunes from their respective bands. If you missed them, go and check them out on their own future dates. They’re top blokes too! Thanks to everyone who came along to a show and see you in the road again soon…

Extra NCD 40th gig added

We’re pleased to announce that an extra New Clear Days 40th Anniversary show has been confirmed at Cambridge Junction on Friday 25th February 2022. There’s a full supporting bill including DJ Jacqui Carroll on the decks.

Tickets are onsale now here

Anniversary day!

Exactly five years ago today, on the 14th October 2016, the newly reformed band made their first live outing at the Opium Rooms in Dublin. It had been over 35 years since they had gigged together although it certainly didn’t show that night. The audience had travelled from far and wide to witness the reformation and the band didn’t disappoint. Dave, Steve, Ed and Michael treated us to a set packed with classics drawn from the first two albums. Five years down the line, and a third album and numerous more gigs under their belts, the band are still going strong. How apt that they’re playing their hometown of Guildford tonight. See you there!
