Following the London support gig with The Skids, we’re pleased to confirm that the band are coming back to the capital for their own headline show in April. They are returning to the Half Moon in Putney, the venue where their reformation was kick-started back in 2016, to play a matinee show on Sunday 12th April from 1pm to 5pm. Special guests for the gig will be Eddie Roxy & The Adjacent Kings and Damage UK. The last Sunday afternoon show there was packed & great fun. Tickets are onsale now here
We have two new t-shirts available to buy from Monday 2nd January at midday. The two designs are both the work of the band’s in-house designer & fan Suzanne Kraznowska. One design marks the ten year anniversary of the band’s reformation back in 2016 whilst the other ‘zombie’ design is inspired by the lyrics to Here Comes The Judge. Both shirts will be available in the full range of sizes from our merch site here
As promised, we can now bring you news of three more gigs coming up in the next few months. There are two more shows with special guests Eddie Roxy & The Adjacent Kings. Firstly, a matinee show on Sunday 19th April at the Facebar in Reading (tickets here). Secondly, the band play at the Fiery Bird in Woking on Friday 24th April (tickets here). Also, there’s a show at Stereo Unddrground-Live! at the Concorde Club, Eastleigh on Saturday 30th May (tickets here). All shows, plus the previously announced Brighton gig (tickets), are onsale now. Even more gig news to come soon…
We’re pleased to announce the first of a short run of gigs this spring with Eddie Roxy (ex Department S) and his new band Eddie Roxy & The Adjacent Kings. The gig will start at 2pm & be an early finish if people need to travel home afterwards. Tickets are onsale now here and more gig news coming soon…

We’re pleased to welcome Mike Kelly (website) who will be joining us on drums for the show at the 229 in London on Saturday 11th October.
Mike is a highly experienced and versatile drummer who has toured extensively with bands including The Mission, Spear Of Destiny, Theatre of Hate, Lotus Eaters and We Fell To Earth, as well as featuring on hundreds of recorded works with many of those bands and others, and has even recorded with musicians from Manic Street Preachers, Steely Dan and Depeche Mode mode to mention a few.
We’re sure you’ll give Mike a big welcome, so please do come along to the 229 if you can to offer your support. See you there…
Many of you will be aware that Secret Affair have unfortunately had to pull out of our co-headline show at The 229 in London on Saturday 11th October.
We will, however, still be playing the gig and we’re pleased to be able to announce that we’ll have support from two class acts. We’ll be joined by our old, young friends Sharp Class and also our old, old friends Class of ’79. Grab your tickets here. We look forward to seeing everyone there and catching up with you all…
We’re delighted to report that Michael is now back home, being cared for by family, and is determined to make a full and complete recovery. Sadly, we need to inform you that Michael will no longer be performing with The Vapors.
It goes without saying that we’d like to thank Michael for everything he’s given to the band and to everyone around us over the past nine and a half years. He’ll not be a stranger to us, and we fully hope to see him grinning back at us from in front of the stage soon. Michael will of course remain firmly and forever a loved and cherished member of the amazing Vapors Family. Thanks Michael, Love You Man!
Michael would also like to add the following:
To all my wonderful friends and fans who have supported me through this tough and scary time – thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Your kind words of love and encouragement meant so very much to me.
I am happy to tell you that I’m now well on the mend and will soon be ready to continue my professional drumming career, with all the energy and enthusiasm that you guys are used to seeing from me.
Sadly, the rest of the band have come to the decision that they wish me to step away from playing with them, so it seems I have played my last Vapors gig.
I will sincerely miss the great times I have had whilst filling that drum stool, and will particularly miss seeing you guys out on the road.
Rest assured you’ll see me again very soon, playing with another band. Thank you again for all the love and support,
