We are pleased to announce that Cherry Red Records, in conjunction with the band and R and T Industries, are releasing a comprehensive 4 CD boxset covering the band’s entire UA and Liberty recordings on the 13th of August.
The clamshell boxset compiles 76 tracks in total including the original ‘New Clear Days’ and ‘Magnets’ albums along with associated b-sides and single remixes. In addition, the boxset also includes 2 CDs of rarities, unreleased demos, rough mixes and an eleven track recording from their performance at The Rainbow on 3rd December 1979. Also included are three tracks ‘Move’, ‘Secret Noise’ and ‘Caroline’ which are previously unreleased.
Dave, Ed, Steve and Howard have all been closely involved with the project and have raided their personal collections for unpublished photos which are included in the 24 page booklet along with sleeve notes by Ed Piller. In addition, as a bonus for anyone who pre-orders the boxset, there is a hand signed postcard (while stocks last).
