Exactly five years ago today, on the 14th October 2016, the newly reformed band made their first live outing at the Opium Rooms in Dublin. It had been over 35 years since they had gigged together although it certainly didn’t show that night. The audience had travelled from far and wide to witness the reformation and the band didn’t disappoint. Dave, Steve, Ed and Michael treated us to a set packed with classics drawn from the first two albums. The Vapors’ film ‘We Lived Off Words That No One Heard’ had its debut screening last night. We were treated to fantastic gig footage and interviews with the band, their contemporaries and even some fans too, all in all making a superb film about the band. Feedback on social media has been very positive.
