News  The long-awaited release of the band’s third album Together happens at the end of next week. Ahead of launch day, the band have been frantically signing vinyl & CD copies of the album for pre-sale orders. Order here https://www.musicglue.com/thevapors/ News Following last night’s band/fan Q&A over on Facebook, we were treated to a special acoustic lockdown treat from the Fenton’s front room. They dusted off the legendary song ‘Red Flag’ for the acoustic treatment, it was a track which was originally planned for single release after Jimmie Jones. Until now, it had been consigned to history and very few people had ever heard it. So, after nearly 40 years’ wait, here’s Dave & Dan’s acoustic version of Red Flag… News This coming Friday, the 24th of April, between 2000 & 2200 GMT, there will be a special live online Q&A with members of the band and crew on ‘The Vapors Fan Group’ over on Facebook. On Friday evening, a post will be created on the page which the band and crew will be following and you can ask any Vapors related question which someone will answer it in real time. After the Q&A, there will also be a video premiere of a special acoustic track performed by Dave & Dan. Download or stream Crazy or Together News Due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, this year’s Mods Mayday has been postponed until Saturday 3rd October. The event has also been paired down to a single day and, sadly, The Vapors will not now be appearing as they are playing their own headline gig in Glasgow that night. Apologies for any inconvenience. News The Vapors are featured in this month’s Vive Le Rock magazine. The in-depth interview is spread across a full four pages in the magazine. The issue of VLR is available now in shops (if you can find one during lockdown) or by mail order here News  Early fan and former Barbed Wire fanzine writer Alan Fred Pipes has uploaded a brilliant set of photos from 1979 to Flickr. The photos capture the band at various live gigs, from small local shows around Guildford to larger venues whilst supporting The Jam on the Setting Sons tour in the autumn. There are also some shots in the studio taken during the Turning Japanese session as well as ones in a car park with a Morris 1000!
