UK tour shirt reprint

So another tour over. Massive thanks to everyone who bought anything over the merch counter. Anyone who missed out on the 2023 Tour T-Shirt will be able to purchase one – for a limited time only – as follows:

-There will be a 3 week window during which these are available here

– This will be the only way of ordering these shirts

– The Window for ordering will open at 10.00am on Monday 13th March, and it will close at 6.00pm on Sunday 2nd April

– Once the window has closed we will be producing only those shirts that have been ordered, so no orders can be accepted once the window has closed

– Shirts will ship during the second week of April

As a result of your fantastic support on the tour, general stocks are currently very low. We will be restocking soon and introducing some new items for the Spring and Summer, so keep checking the store in the next few weeks for update.

And thanks again for your continued and incredible support. Merch is a vital contribution to the band’s income and your support is hugely appreciated by all.

Final weekend of the tour

We’ve reached the final weekend of the tour, culminating in a London gig at 229 tomorrow and Dave’s 70th birthday special celebration at the Holroyd in Guildford on Saturday. Saturday’s expanded sold out gig now has two added bonus guests, namely The Molotovs and DJ Jacqui Carroll, who join Sharp Class & The Vapors for a mega line up. Doors at 7, Molotovs on at 7.30, Sharp Class at 8.20, The Vapors at 9.20 until 10.50. There’s an aftershow, open to all tickets holders, with DJ Jacqui on the decks ‘til 1am! Gig history update

Steve recently found a small cash book in a box of band-related paperwork in his house. The book originally belonged to Dave and he had methodically entered income and expenditure during the early 1978 to mid 1979, the point when the band signed to UA records. Whilst outgoings were related to petrol, roadies’ pay, promo photos, van hire and recording costs, the incoming funds were from gigs. The exhaustive info in this little book has filled in quite a few blanks in the early years of the band gig listing here. Thanks to Steve for finding this piece of history…
