This Saturday’s Bristol show at the Thekla is an early one as there’s a club night after meaning it’s a 10pm curfew. Doors are at 7, special guests Sharp Class onstage at 7.30 and The Vapors at 8.15. News The band will be flying Stateside in May for an appearance at the Cruel World festival. The festival takes place in Pasadena, California on Saturday 20th May with a stella line up of acts including Iggy Pop, Siouxsie & Billy Idol. More details and ticket info can be found on the festival website.  News The band’s eagerly awaited 11 date UK tour kicks off next weekend with a run of 3 shows in Liverpool, Birmingham & Newcastle. In Feb, they head north of the border for Dundee & Glasgow gigs, then it’s Colchester & Bristol and on to Manchester & Leeds. Into March for the final weekend of the tour which visits the 229 in London before culminating in a hometown gig at the Holroyd in Guildford, an extra special event as it’s also Dave’s 70th birthday!… Read the rest News Following their fantastic appearance at the outdoor R-Fest stage in Blackpool last August, the band have been confirmed on the roster for the 2023 Rebellion festival. The festival takes place between 3-6 August with a huge line up of bands. The Vapors will play the indoor Opera House this year although the exact date is yet to be confirmed by organisers. Always a hugely anticipated event in the Vapors’ calendar, this year promises to live up to the high expectations with a packed weekend of live music and events. On the music front, there’s 2 Vapors sets on the Saturday, special guests The 79ers on Friday, Dan Fenton doing a turn and even a chance for fans to perform a track during the open mic set.… Read the rest News Exactly 6 years ago today, the newly reformed band played their first gig in 35 years at the Opium Rooms in Dublin. That show was part of a 4 date mini tour (plus a secret Guildford warm up) to test audience response to their reformation. The tour was a huge success, confirming that there was a big potential audience out there, even after all that time. The rest is history…  The band released a long awaited third album, nearly 40 years after their second, and have clocked up over 120 shows since that Dublin debut (despite losing 18 months of potential gigs due to the Covid pandemic).… Read the rest News The third and final support band for the ‘23 tour will be David Delinquent & The IOUs.
